Long sleeve shirts can damage cats!
This video demonstrates the dangers of long sleeve shirts with cats:
Who does the Simpsons voices?
This page shows the voices actors for all of “The Simpsons” characters”, quite interesting.
I did not know that Mr. Burns and his assistant Smithers are voiced by the same person!

The World's Best Frito Pie Recipe
When many people think about Fritos, they think about "Frito Feet", a common disorder in dogs that makes their feet smell Fritoey . . . .
In one of our upcoming installments, I will explore the problem of "Frito Feet" in dogs, but for now, let's look at how to make a gourmet Frito pie . . . . .

Frito feet are a real problem for dogs
The Best Frito Pie Recipe!
Many city folks don't know how to make a Frito Pie, a great southern delicacy. . . .
The Frito pie is a blue collar delicacy that I like every bit as much as a fancy lobster tail, and properly prepared, a Frito Pie is a thing of great beauty.
The trick is to only use real Fritos, accept no substitutes . . . .

A fresh Frito Pie is truly awesome
When I was a kid in Albuquerque, they had a huge brouhaha because the school cafeteria was calling their menu item a “Frito Pie” even though they could not afford real Frito’s and they were using crappy corn chip substitutes.
They were forced to change the name opf the Frito-less concoction to a more appropriate name of “corn chip pie”.
Interestingly, the Albuquerque Public Schools were also caught serving horse meat to their students . . .
Frito Pie Classic
Some of the classier establishments will serve the Frito Pie hot and fresh, right out it's own bag.
This is the redneck equivalent to cfefs who present lobsters or scallop, served-p in their own shell:

Some Top Frito Chefs will serve up a Frito Pie in it's own bag
Here are the ingredients for making Frito Pie:
- Bag of Frito’s
- Finely chopped Onions
- Finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- Canned Chili (no beans)
- Jalapeno peppers or Slim Jim’s for fancy garnishes
IMPORTANT TIP: Always serve a Frito Pie immediately after pouring on the hot Chili.
Remember, NEVER allow the Frito’s to get soggy, as they turn into an inedible mush.

A special shaver for hairy men!
Don’t you hate it when to lose a hot chick because she finds your Neanderthal unibrow and back hair to be offensive?

Some gals don't like hairy men!
Well, worry no more!
Introducing Man Groomer, a razor on a rod for shaving those unreachable places:

Speaking of rods, ManGroomer also offer a “private shaver” for shaving those privates.

The private shaver my Mangroomer . . .
It probably works on corporals too . . .
Thanks J-Walk

Colonial American Pork products
We love our pork here in North Carolina, and the state’s unofficial motto is:
“North Carolina: More hogs than people”.
We rednecks are descendents of the British/Scotch/Irish, and foods like Haggis have never really disappeared from our tables.
When we butcher a pig we use everything but the squeal, and the traditional ways of dressing a pig have not changed much in centuries.
Intestines are stripped of pig poop for use a sausage casings, the blood is rendered, and the pig face, once stripped of the delectable cheeks and jowls, is boiled up as headcheese.

Every part of the pig is used
Some traditional pork curing dates back to pre-colonial days, back to the original British/Scottish techniques of our redneck ancestors, with ancient names like Tom Thumb and Dan Doodle:
- Dan Doodle: Most link sausage is stuffed into the small intestine, but “Dan Doodle” is sausage that is stuffed into the large intestine, right after you flush-out the pig crap. It’s sort of a sausage-chitlins mix.
- Tom Thumb: A Tom Thumb may be the same as a Dan Doodle, but it is described as homemade sausage, using pork shoulder, sage, red pepper, all heavily salted and stuffed into a hog’s stomach. Tom Thumb can keep at room temperature for years. “Tom Thumb” is usually either smoked or dry-cured and only available in Virginia or the Carolinas, and then, it’s only found in small country stores.

Tom Thumbs can stay edible at room temperature for years

The circumference of a Dan Doodle is the exact same as pig feces

Laws against child names
Let's face it, foreigners are not very good at naming products for American consumption:

In America we have freedom of speech and we are free to give our kids all sorts of offensive names, including the legend of the baby girl named “Urine”.
See my list of non-recommended baby names for foreigners who may work with English speaking professionals.
- Crappy names: Avoid all names that begin with “shit” like Shital and Shitaqua. I also recommend avoiding any name that begins with the letters “ass” like Astrid.
- Hippie Names: Names like Trip and Freek should be discouraged.
- Body part names: Avoid names that sound like body fluids like Spooge and Dooshe, and never give names that sound like breasts like Maboob or Titt.
- Genital names: Avoid giving baby names that describe naughty bits, names like Butt, Wang, Balldeep, Baal, Nad, Vergina, Cherry and, or course, Furpie.
- Homonym names: Avoid names that sound funky when pronounced, names like Fu Kiu, Don Key, Maiballs, and Wang Kerr.
Given this mess, it should not be a surprise that many countries have laws against giving your child a silly name.
Living without freedom to Name
I truly feel bad for people who live in countries with no personal freedom to give a child a traumatic name, where evey child name must be approved by their dictatorships.
This CNN article lists countries who control how children are named.
- In Sweden, it’s against the law to name your child Metallica, Superman, Veranda, Ikea or Elvis . . .
- In New Zealand, it’s illegal to name your child Stallion, Yeah Detroit, Fish and Chips, Twisty Poi, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit, Satan or Adolf Hitler.

Does Pork promote fast wound healing?
It’s funny how some fatty foods like pork are condemned as being bad for you, while the truth is that Pork has been well-known for its curative powers for centuries.
My Great Grandpa Jonathan Hardister was “gut shot” at the battle of Gettysburg in 1963, and he claimed that the only reason he was able to heal–up fast was by eating massive amounts of pork.

Back before antibiotics, your main concern was keeping the wound free of infection, and then the goal was to heal up fast.
Of course, there are people who will tell you to have your dog lick your wound to promote quick healing . . . .
Pig DNA is so closely related to human DNA that they are using pig parts in human heart transplants, and it makes sense that a high Pork diet helps is tissue regeneration!
When we butcher a pig, we use everything but the squeal:

With Pork, use everything but the squeal
The Healing Powers of Pork
I tend to get my skin ripped open a lot and I’ve written about tricks for stitching and cauterizing you own wounds.
Few people know that ordinary super-glue is the exact same stuff as the expensive Dermabond glue that is used by professional surgeons.
I’m not known for my agility, and I recently had to get more than two feet of my skin removed and stitched up!

Skin tears requires extensive stitching
There is that old saying “don’t pop your stitches”, but there is some truth to it, since popped stitches suck!
Actually, it was my fault, I should never have been playing golf with such a big chunk of my own skin all sewn up . . .
Incidentially, it;s not the stitches that pop, it's the meat. The stitching line is a heavy 60 pound test fishing line, and the stitches held fine.
Instead, it was the meat that cut loose, not the stitches!
Below, you can see the stitches glistening in the wound, pulled-up as tight as banjo strings:

"Popped stitches" are really popped meat
Now I have this hole in me, and I’m using an old fashioned country remedy to heal it up fast.
When it comes to healing, you cannot beat a pork diet.
Pork has very similar DNA to humans, plus it’s quite tasty!

There is no question; Pork is a “power food” that helps promote fast healing of wounds.

Airline carrion luggage may not contain maggots
This USA Today article notes that maggots are not allowed in airline “carrion” luggage.
Evidently, some moron managed to get a suitcase full of decomposing meat past TSA, and once it was placed into the aircraft overhead luggage storage, maggots started dropping out onto the passengers!
For some reason, the plane was re-routed back the the gate . . . .

The truth about maggots
Maggots are much maligned and misunderstood!
I used to pick them out of festering wounds on my livestock, but I've learned that these cute little worms are actually beneficial little puss-eaters, and you should leave them be!
In an infected wound, maggots will help the wound heal by eating-up all of the dead white cell waste (puss).
Even in the Civil War (Fredericksburg Virginia), soldier were surprised that many of their fellow soldiers survived solely because maggots kept their wounds clean.
Even in WWII, US doctors deliberately placed maggots onto infected wounds and saved the limbs of several airmen.
Remember, maggots are our friends:

The original hand cannon!
Check out this two gauge shotgun with amazing take down power!
Once in awhile something so totally cool comes out that even a father who doesn't normally know what he'd like for Father's Day would immediately want one:

This New Nail Gun by DeWALT looks just like an AR-15 and she can drive a 16-penny nail through a 2 x 4 at 200 yards!
Yee Haaa!
This makes construction a breeze, you can sit in your lawn chair and build a fence.
