Familiarity breeds contempt while rarity wins admiration!

My father was a manager and he believed that the old aggage "familiarity breeds contempt" is true, you should never become buddies with your employees. It’s super important never to fraternize with your underlings, and some organization (Large Corporations, the Military) have strict rules against "fraternization".
