Spanish hot chocolate

One real treat in Spain is their version of hot chocolate, a super fattening treat when they take deep-fried dough sticks (churros) and provide several flavors of dipping sauce.

Janet and I tried Spanish Hot Chocolate in Cartagena, a lovely seaside village:



We also stopped by a gift shop that had this Catholic icon in the Windows with the conspicuous note (Not KKK):

Evidently, this is a centuries-old Catholic costume, perhaps giving contrary evidence to the theory that coneheads originated in France. . . .
